Home Sweet Home... for now

It's been a while since I've updated and a lot has happened in the last few months!  We rented out our place at the beginning of June, Keith moved our stuff to Iowa at the end of June then came back to Chicago to finish up and we all drove out as a family to Iowa, drove back to Chicago for a birthday party, went on a family vacation to South Carolina for the 4th of July (complete with travelling around 1,000 miles via car, bus, train, and plane for about 24 hours spread over a little less than a eek), came back to Iowa, went to Chicago for another party and then finally settled in at my parents house in Iowa.

Keith didn't have many days off the rest of July so we didn't get to see him too much the rest of the month.  Shortly after moving here we found out that he will not be called for a class this fiscal year.  Nice to know that we will be here until at least October 1!  Hoping the baby will be born here as long as he isn't too late it should be fine.  He's hoping to hear more about a possible class date for next year sometime in the next month or two.  Even though they told him he would hear something, I'm not counting on it.

We are currently in party planning mode getting ready for Graham's 3rd birthday.  It's hard to believe he's almost 3!  He's growing up so much lately.  He found a few neighbor friends to play with and has a great time with them.  All of the kids are a little older, and he's used to that, but we definitely have to keep an eye on him!  He is so happy though now that he has these friends.  He was throwing tantrums, going crazy and just not being a great kid for a while.  Now that he has his social time, he's a much happier boy!   He starts school in September so he will be thrilled to have that back again.  Hopefully he isn't too confused about a new school!  He has been asking about home and wanting to go to his home, but he's been pretty happy here.  Only 2 move moves coming soon (oklahoma city and new york) and another one already planned after that (back to illinois).  Hoping he continues to adjust to each new place.  I'm hoping to get him signed up for Awana at a church I went to last weekend.  He's been learning Bible verses and enjoying that, so the extra social interaction and Bible time will be a hit for him!  And when we move we can find other Awana clubs for him to be in and have something that stays semi-normal through all this.  And of course that will help him with his need for social interaction!

And now for some pictures of the past few months.  Some might be blurry because most were taken on my phone!

Hanging out with his cousins.

Attempting to feed Liam.

Riding the jetski with his daddy.

Hanging out with the whole Karner family in South Carolina.  Only missing 2 people.
All the great-grandkids were there!

Still happy after traveling for nearly 9 hours at this point with another 4 to go.
He slept for the next 3 so we were all pretty happy.

Offically settled in, Keith got his xbox set up and ready to go.
Graham is very good at "helping" daddy race cars.

Stopping by John Deere headquarters in Moline on one trip back to Iowa.  Graham LOVED it!

We made a trip to the zoo!  Complete with a train ride.

Driving his tractor (Nana and Papa have this at their house for their 5 grandsons to share).  Graham is the only one who really loves it so far out of all the grandsons so he better enjoy not sharing too much while he can!

His first shave :)

So happy to be "just like daddy"

Out on the farm, loving riding around with daddy!

Liam didn't get the memo to pretend sleep.  Graham wanted to get some snuggles in with Liam!  He loves getting to play with him a little more now.

That's all for now.  I'll try not to go too long in between my next update, but with a baby on the way in 6 weeks I can't make any promises!
