Iowa

Last Friday, Keith, Graham and I took off for a mini vacation in Iowa. It was nice to get away and enjoy some time with family and friends. We were definitely busy while we were there, but it was worth it! We of course had Taco John's, Frosty Udder and my mom's delicious cooking. For those of you who are wondering, Frosty Udder is a little ice cream place in town. It's basically a tiny barn with some tables outside. They only serve ice cream treats and it's wonderful.

Graham was a trooper traveling everywhere and was a pretty happy guy. He had a little fever for a couple of days but got over it as fast as he got it.

My aunt took some awesome pictures of him while we were there. Our normally goofy, happy busy guy was unsure, unhappy, and busy most of the time. But we got some smiles and some great pictures. Take a look at the pictures here!

Here are a few phrases he now understands
-- "shake it" and he shakes the toy he is holding,
-- "snuggle snuggle" he snuggles with a pillow, toy, blanket or person
-- "no no" this one he understands but doesn't always obey
-- "so big" he's learning to put his hand up
-- "hi" and "bye" he knows he's supposed to wave, when he's not so sure he just rubs his fingers together, otherwise he really gets his arm into it

I'll post more pictures and video when I find the camera and put that on the computer :)
