2 month check up and shots

Graham had his 2 month check up today. He was doing pretty good until it was time for his shots. He is growing up so fast! He weighed in at 13 pounds 9.5 ounces and is now 24 3/4 inches long. His height is in the 95th% and weight is in the 90th%. His head size is catching up to the rest of his body and is now in the 70th%. The doctor asked us how often he was eating and how much he was eating. She said we would be lucky to be getting 5 hours of sleep out of him at a time. At this point, anything less than 5 hours a night for us is abnormal. Last night he was incredibly fussy and probably went to sleep around 10, we didn't hear from him again until 6. He's a great sleeper!

When shot time came around he had just finished some eating and was laid down on the table. Keith was talking to him and he seemed just fine. Then 2 nurses came at his chubby little thighs with needles and turned his smile into a scream. He got super red and was screaming! They had to do one more shot and then he was done and we could hold him again. He screamed for a while and had some tears but he eventually calmed down enough to eat a little bit. By the time we left and got him in his car seat again he was sound asleep. He's been sleeping a while since his shots and we're hoping he just sleeps it off for a while. Not fun for him! We'll have to take a picture with him with his little Band-Aids on his chubby little legs and put that up after he wakes up.

We have a great baby and we are loving him to pieces!
