Graham Stories, of course

Graham has been talking like crazy lately. He keeps saying longer words and longer phrases all the time. My current favorite word is "potentially". Even though he has no clue what it means, it's still super cute when he repeats it! Encyclopedia is another good one.

Another thing he's been doing lately is helping me read his books. A favorite is "The Foot Book". I'll read the first part and then he'll tell me the second part. It's pretty cute to hear him repeating what he's heard. He's definitely been listening to everything we've been reading to him!

One of his cutest phrases right now is, "This be fun!" Not the greatest grammar but it's so cute to hear the excitement in his voice when he says it. Going to preschool has been great for his vocabulary! He's also getting better about cleaning up and drinking from a big boy cup and not always using his sippy cups. One thing that hasn't been great about preschool is how often he uses the word "mine!" He's very adamant and not so great about sharing. We're working on that one.

Graham has always been a picky eater. We can usually get him to eat chicken nuggets, french fries, peaches, pears, applesauce, crackers, bananas, ice cream, and a few other things. Beyond that he's not too brave with trying new things. Sometimes we get him to smell the food or lick it to give it a little taste. And tonight he actually tried eating some spaghetti! I told Keith he was going to be very spoiled because it was Keith's homemade noodles and sauce. Since Graham helped make it he was pretty excited about the noodles.

Hopefully this trend continues and he keeps eating more food and drinking less milk!
