Graham's Latest and Greatest

Here are a few of Graham's latest and greatest things he's been doing...

-When riding in the car he covers his face with his blanket, yells loudly and then says "too loud!" We told him he was being too loud in the car once and this is how he responded...

-When I ask him what he wants for breakfast or lunch or dinner he will pause and thoughtfully reply, "cookies" or "ice cream" Nice try little buddy. Not today.

-He loves to watch Clifford, Dinosaur Train, Thomas the Train and sometimes Elmo. He only likes the Elmo parts of Sesame Street. These shows along with the movie Cars and Toy Story help us make the drive to Iowa.

-He is a milkaholic. We struggle to get him to drink anything other than milk. He will sometimes drink water (especially from the bathtub!) or the occasional juice box.

-His meals usually consist of chicken nuggets, hot dogs, berries and bread. These are his favorites and is not too big on trying new things. Slowly but surely he's coming around.

-He LOVES to be outside. He cries whenever we come inside, even if we've been out for 2 hours.

-He is talking so much now. He went from single syllable words to speaking in phrases in a couple of weeks. He is very good at letting you know what he wants now. Phrases we hear a lot... keep swinging, more Graham me milk, go outside, take a bath, see a bug, see a motorcycle, hear a train, and more again. If he hears something once he remembers!

-He was a part of his first wedding! Well, he was in Andrew and Jen's, but I was very pregnant so it doesn't count. He was one of the ring bearers and he did a great job! There were 2 ring bearers and 2 flower girls and they all made it down the aisle and were in the pictures. The older 2 even stood for the entire wedding. It was super cute.

-He loves to read and will read me books now. He recently read Hop on Pop to himself and was smiling and laughing to himself as he did it.

-He enjoying coloring and stickers. One sticker is never enough. He needs to use the whole sheet. I've been saving some of his drawings and occasionally he helps me mail the letters because he also loves to check the mail.

-He is getting another cousin! Andrew and Jen are expecting Baby Boomer in December, so he's very excited. I keep telling him Jen has a baby in her belly, but maybe after we see proof of this bump he'll believe me a little more.

That's the biggest stuff we have going on with Mr. Graham right now. I'll have to post pictures another time. I'm on our laptop and all our pictures are on our desktop. He was a cute ring bearer so I'll definitely have to post one from that!
